Hollywood’s fascination (or should that be obsession?) with comic books rolls on unabated with the news that Universal has snapped up the rights to adapt the graphic novel series The Last Call.
Written and illustrated by Vasilis Lolos, the series tells the plight of a pair of teenagers who are transported to another dimension and are forced to battle through an extraordinary adventure to find their way home.
Richard Kelly’s The Box scribe Evan Spiliotopoulos is currently writing the screenplay. No casting has yet been announced.
