There’s plenty of swashbuckling action and quirky one-liners in the official trailer for upcoming Disney+ action-adventure fantasy series Renegade Nell, which will be released on the streaming platform this month.

The eight-part series is written and created by BAFTA-award-winning writer Sally Wainwright (Happy Valley) with lead director Ben Taylor (Sex Education).
The show follows Nell Jackson, a quick-witted and courageous young woman, who finds herself framed for murder and unexpectedly becomes the most notorious outlaw in 18th-century England. But when a magical spirit called Billy Blind appears, Nell realizes her destiny is bigger than she ever imagined.
It stars Louisa Harland (Derry Girls) as Nell alongside Frank Dillane (Fear The Walking Dead), Alice Kremelberg (The Sinner), Ényì Okoronkwo (The Lazarus Project), Jake Dunn (The Bastard Son & the Devil Himself), Bo Bragason (Censor), Florence Keen (The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society), Nick Mohammed (Ted Lasso), Joely Richardson (The Sandman), Adrian Lester (Riviera), Pip Torrens (Preacher) and Craig Parkinson (Intergalactic).
All episodes of Renegade Nell will premiere on 29 March 2024 on Disney+.
