Electronic Arts has rubbished rumours that BioWare, one of its subsidiaries, is currently working on another entry in the beloved Knights Of The Old Republic RPG franchise.
A recent presentation by CEO John Riccitiello made reference to Knights Of The Old Republic, which was seized upon by many outlets as confirmation that a new game was in the works. However, EA have clarified that the part of the presentation in question refers to previous titles rather than future releases.
LucasArts has also clarified its working relationship with BioWare, stating that the company is not associated with the KOTOR franchise in any way at present, during an interview with IGN.
