If you didn’t manage to catch the panel for The Suicide Squad at DC FanDome, make sure you catch it when it’s released on-demand on 12 September because not only did it reveal all the characters and a behind-the-scenes look for the upcoming film (below) but it was also bloody hilarious to boot!
The panel revealed the spectacular cast of characters we can expect from The Suicide Squad, written and directed by James Gunn (Guardians Of The Galaxy). The Squad will be made up of a returning Harley Quinn played by Margot Robbie (Birds of Prey), Rick Flag played by Joel Kinnaman (RoboCop), and Captain Boomerang played by Jai Courtney (Terminator Genisys).
The new movie also include Squad newcomers Bloodsport played by Idris Elba (Thor), SolSoria played by Alice Braga (The New Mutants), Blackguard played by Pete Davidson (The King of Staten Island), T.D.K. played by Nathan Fillion (Firefly), Savant played by Michael Rooker (Guardians of the Galaxy), Peacemaker played by John Cena (Bumblebee), Weasel played by Sean Gunn (Super), Polka-Dot Man played by David Dastmalchian (The Dark Knight) and finally, The Thinker played by Peter Capaldi (Doctor Who).
The Suicide Squad also sees the return of the brilliant Viola Davis (How to Get Away with Murder) as Amanda Waller and includes Storm Reid (A Wrinkle In Time) as Tyla and Taika Waititi in an unnamed role.
The panel for The Suicide Squad at DC FanDome was hosted by James Gunn himself who revealed each character, as well as character artwork before bringing in the cast for a showdown quiz on all things DC!
The Suicide Squad will be released in 2021.
