The Yiddish Policemen’s Union by Michael Chabon has taken the Best Novel prize at the Nebula Awards in Austin, Texas this weekend. Presented annually by the Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of America, the popular conclusion to the Harry Potter series by JK Rowling, Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows, also took home the Andre Norton award for young adult fiction.

Script: Pan’s Labyrinth – Guillermo del Toro
This year’s Author Emeritus was named as Ardath Mayhar, while Michael Moorcock received the Damon Knight Memorial Grand Master Award.
