Following the announcement that Michelle MacLaren has signed on to direct Warner Bros’ Wonder Woman solo movie, it looks like a writer has now been found.
THR reports that Pan writer Jason Fuchs is in negotiations to write the Amazonian’s big-screen adventure. The fact that a writer has only just been found shows the very early stages that the project is in, so expect it to be a little while before any actual story details emerge for Gal Gadot’s take on Diana Prince.
Fuchs is also currently working on the script for a Pan sequel and THR says that he’ll work with MacLaren on the drafts of the Wonder Woman script. It is interesting to note that Warners’ determination to hire a female director didn’t impact on their choice to hire a male writer.
