Things have been very quiet when it comes to actual news about Westworld‘s second season but this new Comic-Con trailer shows that, dammit, the world has turned upside down.
The most striking of a lot of extremely striking images include Dolores (Evan Rachel Wood) and Teddy (James Marsden) gunning down guests on horseback following the first season finale’s bloody uprising. And speaking of bloody, there’s the Man In Black (Ed Harris), sporting battle scars, donning his costume and smiling at the prospect of a real goddam fight.
It’s also good to see so much of Jeffrey Wright’s Bernard, one of the first season’s most intriguing and unpredictable characters, and we do get a glimpse of Thandie Newton’s ferocious Maeve.
With consciouness achieved, it looks like Dolores is indeed leading the artificial intelligence uprising. Will we see more of the other worlds? We don’t know. But we do know that this looks like Season Two is going to start with a bang.
Westworld Season Two will begin on 22 April. Keep up with the latest genre news with the new issue of SciFiNow.
