Black Panther new poster hail to the king

T’Challa gazes out over his kingdom in the new Black Panther poster

A new poster for Ryan Coogler’s Black Panther has been unveiled at Comic-Con (via IMPAwards), where the cast and director took the stage.

While the new footage screened for the Hall H crowd is sadly not available online (damn you, Disney!), we’ll take whatever we can get when it comes to the king of Wakanda. Also, if Disney/Marvel could find their way to getting that Avengers: Infinity War footage online too, that would be great, thanks…

You can read the official synopsis for the film here:

Black Panther follows T’Challa who, after the events of Captain America: Civil War, returns home to the isolated, technologically advanced African nation of Wakanda to take his place as King. However, when an old enemy reappears on the radar, T’Challa’s mettle as King and Black Panther is tested when he is drawn into a conflict that puts the entire fate of Wakanda and the world at risk.

Black Panther stars Chadwick Boseman as T’Challa, Michael B Jordan as Erik Killmonger, Forest Whitaker as Zuri, Danai Gurira as Okoye, Lupita Nyong’o as Nakia, Daniel Kaluuya as W’Kabi, Windston Duke as M’Baku (also known as Ape-Man), Angela Bassett as Ramonda, Andy Serkis as Ulysses Klaue, Sterling K Brown as N’Jobu, and Martin Freeman as Everett K Ross.

Creed and Fruitvale Station director Ryan Coogler is helming the film, Kevin Feige is producing and Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Nate Moore, Jeffrey Chernov and Stan Lee are serving as executive producers.

Black Panther is in cinemas from 9 February 2018. Get all the latest superhero newswith every issue of SciFiNow.
