The third movie in the V/H/S franchise has been confirmed, as V/H/S Viral is on sale at Cannes.
The directors involved are Todd Lincoln (The Apparition), Nacho Vigalondo (TimeCrimes), Marcel Sarmiento (Deadgirl), Gregg Bishop (The Other Side), Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead (Resolution and the upcoming Spring). Sarmiento and Vigalondo were also a part of The ABCs Of Death, directing ‘D Is For Dogfight’ and ‘A Is For Apocalypse’ respectively.
ScreenDaily reports that the V/H/S Viral “focuses on fame-obsessed teens who unwittingly become stars of the next internet sensation.”
V/H/S featured segments by Adam Wingard, David Bruckner, Ti West, Glenn McQuaid, Joe Swanberg and Radio Silence, while V/H/S/2 was directed by Simon Barrett, Adam Wingard, Eduardo Sanchez and Gregg Hale, Timo Tjahjanto and Gareth Evans, and Jason Eisner.
