Robert Downey Jr making horror comedy Cloaked

Robert Downey Jr’s supernatural horror comedy Cloaked given to Jurassic World writer

Robert Downey JrRobert Downey Jr may shooting Avengers: Age Of Ultron, but he’s keeping himself busy, and his pitch for supernatural horror comedy Cloaked has been picked up by Warner Bros.

Deadline reports that Downey Jr and his wife Susan Downey have sold their idea to the studio, and that a script is now being written by Safety Not Guaranteed and Jurassic World‘s Derek Connolly.

The plot details are being kept secret at the moment, but the site describes the pitch as “a supernatural horror comedy in the vein of An American Werewolf In London, which perfectly threaded the needle combining laughs and scares.”

It’s unclear whether Downey Jr will star in the film himself, but he’s not confirmed to appear in anything immediately after Avengers: Age Of Ultron (although his ‘In Development’ slate at IMDB is packed).
