The Walking Dead spin-off series is quickly taking form as Deadline reports two new actors have been added to the cast.
Frank Dillane, most famous for playing the 16-year-old Voldemort in Harry Potter And The Half-Blood Prince, will appear in the pilot of the untitled series, which has been nicknamed Cobalt for the time being.
Alycia Debnam-Carey, known for Into The Storm and The Devil’s Hand, will also be joining the cast, but it is so far unknown who both actors will be playing.
Dillane and Debnam-Carey are the first actors to be confirmed for the spin-off, but it is unclear who each will be playing. We can, however, speculate from the brief character descriptions that were released earlier this year.
Both seem too young-looking to be playing proper grown ups, so it’s likely they will take on teenage roles. The resemblance between the actors also make room for the possibility of them playing siblings.
Dillane as Nick Tompkins (“…screwed up teenage son… too old to stay home, too scared to flee”) and Debnam-Carey as Ashley Tompkins (“…level-headed teenage daughter… loves her mom but it’s time to get out of Dodge”) seem like safe bets.
