Sam and Dean head to Nebraska to investigate the grim death of a babysitter – she had clawed her brain out. The only witness to this event is her kid brother Jimmy, who claims he put itching powder in her hair. Following the death of a man at hospital – by way of a trick hand buzzer – the pair track these joke items to a shop. When nothing comes of this they realise all the nasty things happening to people in the town centre around one house. Here they meet a boy named Jesse. Castiel informs the pair that Jesse must be killed, as he is the antichrist. Castiel tries to do the deed himself but is thwarted by the child. Sam and Dean manage to convince Jesse to search deep within and put his wrongs to right. Following this he disappears, leaving the brothers pondering over matters of truth, and their own childhoods.
