A client tragically loses his wife/expectant mother and requests that Echo take her place. With some great work from Topher Echo is able to perform all motherly duties, but this starts to affect her. Complications soon arise when Echo fails to engage with her ‘husband’. Soon she suspects that he has designs to murder her. After a failed attempt at escaping this situation Echo starts to go crazy, leading people to believe that her past could be related to this mission. Topher tries to wipe her mind but once again Echo pulls an escape act. She grabs a knife and goes after her husband and while some put this down to hormones, Ballard has a strong suspicion that her past is haunting her. Echo finds her husband but he manages to talk her out of killing him. In the aftermath of this event Echo tells Ballard that she doesn’t want to lose all of her memories.
