Computing whiz Eli Wallace completes a mathematical equation and is subsequently recruited by Dr Nicholas Rush and General Jack O’Neill to go with them to the Icarus Base. He has a solution, which is able to manage power levels for the Gate. Eventually three Ha’tak ships attack the base. As Colonel Telford battles the enemy, Rush enlists Eli to get to work on evacuating everyone off the base. Soon enough around 80 survivors of this situation are whisked off into the unknown depths of space. The planet explodes and Star Command has no idea what happened to those left behind.
