Legends Of Tomorrow Season 4 trailer goes big on magic and John Constantine

The Legends want more dragons and better ratings in the new Legends Of Tomorrow trailer

DC’s Legends Of Tomorrow has definitely figured out what it’s all about at this point and the Comic-Con trailer for Season Four points towards a lot more fun to come, not to mention a lot more John Constantine (Matt Ryan).

Yes indeed, Matt Ryan’s Constantine has a much bigger part to play this year, which is handy if there are a lot more magical monsters on the way. There’s also Paul Revere, Woodstock, and dragons.

Meanwhile, Deadline reports that Back To The Future‘s own Biff Tannen Tom Wilson has joined the cast as Nate’s father (and DOD official) Hank Heywood, and Ramona Yu (Santa Clarita Diet) will play Alaska Yu, “a typical twentysomething easily swept up by romantic notions and fantasy novels, and she’s something of an expert in the world of the magical creatures that the Legends encounter in Season 4. In the company of the Legends, she soon learns to get her head out of the clouds to become a kickass superhero.”

Ava Sharpe (Jes Macallan) and Nora Darkh (Courtney Ford) are now series regulars following the departure of Rip Hunter (Arthur Darvill) and Wally West (Keiynan Lonsdale).

“The Legends continue their new mission to protect the timeline from temporal aberrations – unusual changes to history that spawn potentially catastrophic consequences. When Nate, the grandson of J.S.A. member Commander Steel, unexpectedly finds himself with powers, he must overcome his own insecurities and find the hero within himself. Ultimately, the Legends will clash with foes both past and present, to save the world from a mysterious new threat.”

DC’s Legends Of Tomorrow returns Monday, October 22 on The CW in the US. It airs on Sky One in the UK. Keep up with the latest genre news with the new issue of SciFiNow.
