American Horror Story Season 2: Meet ‘Bloody Face’

American Horror Story showrunner Ryan Murphy tweets cryptic pic from Season 2.

Showrunner Ryan Murphy couldn’t resist Tweeting a sneaky peek at American Horror Story Season 2 shortly after joining the social networking site. The pic shows Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine posing down a dark alley with ‘Bloody Face’. Murphy’s Tweet said simply:

“AHS exclusive: Two of our stars who started shooting today – – the multi-talented @adamlevine and Bloody Face!”

Levine plays half of a couple known as ‘The Lovers’ along with Jenna Dewan. The second season is set in the Sixties in a mental institution run by Jessica Lange’s character. What’s more is that there will be no ghosts, according to TVLine, which reports:

“There are no ghosts in the second season – it’s set in an asylum and Jessica Lange is a nun! – executive producer Ryan Murphy promises that there will be no lack of horror. “I think the story is horrifying,” he tells us. “The story is a period piece in a mental institution based largely on truth, and truth is always scarier than fiction.”

Are you looking forward to the new season (due to air this fall on FX)? And who do you think Bloody Face could be?
