The first teaser trailer for Venom has arrived but if you’re hoping to see Tom Hardy in full Venom mode, you’d best cool your jets. We’ve got our first look at him as Eddie Brock, quick shots of Riz Ahmed and Michelle Williams, and a lot of car chase bits but for the most part this is a moody teaser with Hardy’s voiceover doing the heavy lifting.

Ruben Fleischer directs an excellent cast that includes Michelle Williams, Riz Ahmed (possibly as Carnage), Jenny Slate, Reid Scott, Scott Haze, and Woody Harrelson, with Kelly Marcel writing the latest draft of the script.
