A new trailer has arrived for Taika Waititi’s Thor: Raganarok and it is just full of wonderful things.
So, there’s a bit more plot and much more of Cate Blanchett’s glorious goddess of death Hela, whose plan to destroy Asgard and bring abour Ragnaroke necessitates putting a team together: Hulk (Mark Ruffalo), Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson), and a surprisingly game Loki (Tom Hiddleston).
The latter’s line about “This will be so much fun” is definitely coming across in this trailer. There’s Hulk fighting a giant wolf! So much synth music! Post-bout chill-out reconciliation between Thor and Hulk!
There’s also the new poster, via IMPAwards.
Here’s the film’s official synopsis:
In Marvel Studios’ Thor: Ragnarok, Thor is imprisoned on the other side of the universe without his mighty hammer and finds himself in a race against time to get back to Asgard to stop Ragnarok—the destruction of his homeworld and the end of Asgardian civilization—at the hands of an all-powerful new threat, the ruthless Hela. But first he must survive a deadly gladiatorial contest that pits him against his former ally and fellow Avenger—the Incredible Hulk!
