Mad Men and Top Of The Lake star Elisabeth Moss has been cast in There Are Monsters from Bryan Bertino, the writer/director of The Strangers.
Screen Daily reports that Moss will lead the story about “a single mum and her terrified young daughter who are trapped and tormented by a mysterious creature.”
There Are Monsters will start filming this autumn, and is produced by American Hustle‘s Richard Suckle and Adrienne Biddle. It’s not Moss’ first horror appearance, as she played the lead in Stuart Gordon’s Fear Itself episode ‘Eater’.
