It’s been far too long since we last had a new Vincenzo Natali movie and we’re very excited that the man behind Cube and Splice is taking on Stephen King and Joe Hill’s novella In The Tall Grass. Now, he’s lined up his three stars for his Netflix film.
Deadline reports that always-welcome genre regular Patrick Wilson is stepping into the lead role previously taken by Westworld‘s James Marsden (who’s dropped out due to scheduling conflicts). The star of The Conjuring and Insidious is joined by Laysla De Oliveira (Covert Affairs) and Harrison Gilbertson (Upgrade).
“After hearing a young boy’s cry for help, a sister and brother venture into a vast field of tall grass in Kansas but soon discover there may be no way out… and that something evil lurks within the tall grass.”
Shooting will begin soon in Toronto.
