Caroline’s primary wedge is discovered to be missing, so Adelle has a programmer from another Dollhouse, Bennett Halverson, kidnapped in order to repair the wedge that Alpha previously damaged. November is also brought back with Bennett. Flashbacks establish that Caroline spent years working against Rossum as a terrorist before being coerced to join as an Active, and Dr Saunders returns to the Dollhouse at Boyd’s request. When she arrives however, she shoots and kills Bennett, leaving Topher to repair the wedge. Rossum invades the LA Dollhouse as Echo is imprinted with Caroline, answering the question of who the current incarnation of Clyde is, and the identity of the other founder of Rossum – Boyd Langton.
