Tobey Maguire has not confirmed his involvement, neither has Sam Raimi, and the jury is still out on Kirsten Dunst too, but Spidey producer Laura Ziskin has announced that plans are in place for the fourth instalment to be released as early as May 2011.
There is yet no screenplay written but, according to The LA Times, Ziskin and Sony are confident that the film will be ready to continue the unfeasibly successful franchise in three years time.
