Speaking to The Sunday Times, Simon Pegg has revealed that he, along with frequent collaborator Nick Frost, may be making an appearance in Steven Spielberg’s Tintin film.
Speaking to the newspaper, Pegg spoke of his meeting with Spielberg, saying, “Steven’s smoking a stogy, cap on head, like he’s always been since I was a baby. I shook his hand and chatted about films. Then he said, ‘Hey, maybe you and Nick Frost could play the Thompson Twins.’”
The Berg and Peter Jackson’s Tintin project has run into problems finding funding, it has been reported, and casting is still in the early stages, but the notion of Pegg and Frost tag-teaming in a Spielberg movie has us interested for sure.
