Deadline reports that WGN has renewed the show for a second season after just three episodes following strong ratings.
Salem stars Janet Montgomery, Shane West, Seth Gabel, Xander Berkeley, Ashley Madekwe, Tamzin Merchant, Elise Eberle and Iddo Goldberg, and retells the story of the 17th Century Salem witch trials.
Salem is currently airing on WGN in the US. No UK air date has been announced.
