After what seems like a very, very long wait since its Cannes debut last year, we’re finally not too far away from Olivier Assayas’ ghost story Personal Shopper, and there’s a new TV spot to celebrate.
Assayas is the writer-director of films like Irma Vep and The Clouds Of Sils Maria, and we’re very excited to see what he’s done with this Paris-set ghost story, starring the on-a-seemingly-neverending-roll-right-now Kristen Stewart and Lars Eidinger (SS-GB, The Clouds Of Sils Maria).
The film is described as “an ethereal and mysterious ghost story. Kristen Stewart stars as Maureen, a young American living in Paris and working as a high-fashion personal shopper to the stars. She is also a spiritual medium, and grieving the recent death of her twin brother, haunts his Parisian home, determined to make contact with him.”
Personal Shopper is released in UK cinemas on 17 March. Keep up with the latest genre news with the new issue of SciFiNow.
