New concept art from The Crow reboot

The film itself still languishes in development hell

Cynics might say, “Surely the concept art already exists – the comic”, but if both the comic and the original Crow movie are anything, they’re very much products of their era – closely attuned to the industrial metal/goth feel of the early Nineties and the late Eighties. We argued in a recent review that perhaps the comic-book doesn’t hold up particularly well at all, 22 years on from its 1989 release.

Nonetheless the original 1994 incarnation of The Crow, starring the late Brandon Lee, has a devoted cult following, so perhaps these incredible concept sketches revealed by ShockTillYouDrop.com will win them over to the proposed reboot helmed by 28 Weeks Later director Juan Carlos Fresnadillo and starring The Hangover‘s Bradley Cooper, which is currently stalled, its fate uncertain going on non-existant.

Do, what do you reckon?
