The first teaser trailer for Darren Aronofsky’s mysterious horror film Mother! has arrived, and it’s certainly grabbed our attention.
So, not a huge amount to go on. All we really know about Mother! at the moment is that it’s written and directed by Aronofsky, it stars Jennifer Lawrence, Javier Bardem, Ed Harris, Michelle Pfeiffer, Domhnall Gleeson, Brian Gleeson, Stephen McHattie and Kristin Wiig, and it has this vague plot synopsis:
“Centers on a couple whose relationship is tested when uninvited guests arrive at their home, disrupting their tranquil existence.”
