Jessica Brown FindlayDownton Abbey‘s Jessica Brown Findlay has been cast in Paul McGuigan’s Max Landis-scripted Frankenstein reboot, joining Daniel Radcliffe and James McAvoy.

THR reports that Findlay will play “a trapeze artist who is saved by Igor after an accident, with the two becoming very close in the aftermath.” Landis’ script presents a fresh take on Mary Shelley’s novel, and presents the story from the perspective of Igor, played by Radcliffe, while McAvoy plays Dr Victor Frankenstein.

“It’s about two young, brilliant guys pushing each other,” Radcliffe told the site. “Eventually one loses his morality and the other has to bring him back.”
