Halloween 3 has been in development for a long time now and it feels like forever since there was anything approaching real movement on it.
However, Shock Till You Drop reports that producer Malek Akkad dropped a snippet of information regarding Michael Myers’ latest adventure.
While referencing the series’ legacy, Akkad said “It’s been a joy to work with so many creative people – ten films. We’re working on eleven as we speak. We’re working on a script right now. A new draft – perfect timing – is supposed to hit the day before Halloween. Hopefully my Halloween night reading will be a good read.”
So, not a lot of new information there but it’s promising to hear that there’s still new drafts of the script being written. It won’t be Todd Farmer and Patrick Lussier’s version, as the guys behind My Bloody Valentine 3D and Drive Angry left the project a while ago. But hey, at least there’s more news than there is on the Hellraiser reboot front.
