Fox’s small-screen Batman origin story Gotham has finally cast its young Bruce Wayne and Selina Kyle, the kids who will one day grow up to be DC Comics’ Dark Knight detective and Catwoman.

According to Variety, Wayne – who is described as the “boy who leans on his butler Alfred and Commissioner James Gordon for guidance after his wealthy parents are murdered” – will be played by Touch‘s David Mazouz.

Kyle, meanwhile, will be played by relative newcomer and dancer Camren Bicondova, and is described by the site as “a teenage orphan and street thief who is suspicious and wholly unpredictable.”
