Speaking to Collider, Game Of Thrones star Kit Harington – who plays Jon Snow, the bastard son of Ned Stark and man of the Night’s Watch – had good reason to be excited for the new series, admitting, “I’d definitely say our budget’s bigger for Season 3 – you can feel it on set.”

“I’ll put it this way,” Harinton continued, “Season 1 was a big impact season, Season 2 was more story[-led], Season 3 is another impact season.”

The star added that Season 3 is his “favourite season so far. There’s some wonderful stuff coming in this season which is gonna grab people, especially if they don’t know what’s coming.

“We don’t know whether we’re coming back for a fourth season – we won’t know until just before we [start filming] and I just take it season-by-season,” he said. “Maybe we are [coming back], but I think it’s foolish to assume.”

Game Of Thrones Season 3 will air March 2013 on Sky Atlantic. The Game Of Thrones Season 1 Blu-ray Gift Setis out 19 November 2012. Pre-order it from Amazon.co.uk now.
