Don’t Kill It trailer Dolph Lundgren hunts demons in gory horror comedy

Dolph Lundgren hunts demons and cracks wise in the Don’t Kill It trailer

The trailer for Mike Mendez’s Don’t Kill It is here and it looks like it could be a lot of gory, self-aware fun.

The new movie from the director of Big Ass Spider stars Dolph Lundgren and genre regular Kristina Klebe (Proxy, Tales Of Halloween, Rob Zombie’s Halloween), and has a pretty nifty premise to go with all the gore and wise-cracking: whoever kills the body that a murderous demon is currently inhabiting is immediately possessed by it. Hence the title. Kind of like the Denzel Washington film Fallen

“An ancient demon is accidentally unleashed in a sparsely populated Alaskan town, and the only hope of survival lies in the hands of a grizzled old demon hunter Jebediah Woodley and his reluctant partner FBI agent Evelyn Pierce.”

The film is written by Dan Berk and Robert Olsen, who wrote last year’s tense chiller Body.

Don’t Kill It is playing at Fantastic Fest in the US, and plays at Nottingham’s Mayhem Festival on 16 October. Keep up with the latest horror news with the new issue of SciFiNow.
