Martin Freeman, who’s playing Bilbo Baggins in The Hobbit, let slip at this week’s BAFTAs that Benedict Cumberbatch, the star of Sherlock, the BBC’s contemporary reimagining of Sherlock Holmes in which Freeman plays Watson, has a role in the movie.
Speaking on the One Show, Freeman said of his gaff, “I knew I was sort of a big mouth but I didn’t realise to what extent I was a big mouth, and now I’ve ruined everything.”
