Karl Urban’s sci-fi cop drama Almost Human won’t get a Season Two, as Fox has announced that it’s cancelling the series.
Deadline reports that Almost Human, created by JJ Abrams and JH Wyman, has been dropped by Fox, despite an improvement in ratings and critical reaction. They suggest that the strong pilots for Fox, which include Gotham, The Red Band Society and Empire, may have essentially muscled out the freshman series. Almost Human can now be added to the list of Karl Urban-related sci-fi injustices.
UK fans who have been waiting patiently for the show to appear will get to see the full and final season from 6 May on Watch.
