Anna Paquin’s Ella starts an unlikely friendship in upcoming genre drama A Bit Of Light, directed by Stephen Moyer and written by Rebecca Callard.

A Bit Of Light follows Ella, who is living with her father Alan, and is newly sober, having temporarily given up custody of her young daughters to her ex-husband Joseph and his new partner Bethan.
But when she strikes up an unlikely friendship with a mysterious teenage boy, his belief in her as a mother helps her rediscover her self-worth…
Directed by Stephen Moyer (True Blood) and written by Rebecca Callard (Breeders) from her own stage play, the movie stars Anna Paquin (True Blood), Ray Winstone (Black Widow), Youssef Kerkour (Stay Close), Pippa Bennett-Warner (Gangs of London) and Luca Hogan.
