Simon Pegg and Nick Frost’s joint writing venture, Paul, has seen its stock rise with the appointments of Seth Rogen, Jason Bateman, Kristen Wiig, Bill Hader and Jane Lynch to the cast.
The film centres on Pegg and Frost who play two sci-fi fanatics on a pilgrimage to Nevada’s Area 51. Over the course of their comedic journey they come into contact with the titular alien. Reports from Variety suggest that it is Rogen whom will be voicing this character.
Universal and Working Title Films are distributing Paul and as of yet the film has not been given a release date.
