Since we had a bit of news about the proposed remake earlier in the week, the trailer for 1995′s Judge Dredd seemed appropriate.
Many were disappointed in the film, but it’s become a bit of a cult classic over time. Cheesy, it certainly is, but nobody can deny that the first 15 minutes were exactly what you wanted out of a Dredd adaptation.
Directed by Danny Cannon, the film starred Sylvester Stallone, Armand Assante, Rob Schneider and Diane Lane among others.

Ahh… Judge Dredd. I always remember going to see this when I was only 15 – it was really good… except when he took off his helmet. That was a big mistake as it’s a trademark in the comic for him not to take it off. I remember sitting there and everyone gasped when Sly removed the helmet.
So film makers – in the new one DO NOT REMOVE THE HELMET. Ta. :)
Christ, I need to see this. I have no affinity with the comic but this trailer looks gorgeous.
I remember seeing this way back and that it was pants. Now I’ve seen this trailer, however, I feel the urge to embrace the pain again. Damn all trailers and their evil ways!
