HBO and Bad Robot’s Westworld TV series has cast Ed Harris as its lead villain.
THR reports that the veteran character actor, recently seen in Snowpiercer, will join the already incredible cast, which includes Anthony Hopkins, Evan Rachel Wood, James Marsden, Jeffrey Wright, Rodrigo Santoro (300), Eddie Rouse (Pandorum) and Ingrid Bolsø Berdal (Dead Snow).
The site reports that Harris, who’s no stranger to playing sinister villains, will “star as The Man in Black, described as the distillation of pure villainy into one man.”
The series comes from Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy, and will be produced by JJ Abrams.
