Welcome To Night Vale TV series Alice Isn’t Dead finds a writer and exec producer

Welcome To Night Vale’s Alice Isn’t Dead TV series has found itself a writer and executive producer

Fans of the world of cult hit podcast Welcome To Night Vale will be pleased to learn there’s been some movement on the upcoming TV show based on its companion podcast, Alice Isn’t Dead.

The movement in question is that it has found itself a writer and executive producer in Kyle Bradstreet, who is best known for his work on USA Network series Mr Robot.

Alice Isn’t Dead is based on the Night Vale spin-off podcast and creator Joseph Fink’s upcoming novel of the same name.

The TV series is in development at USA Network and Universal Cable Productions, and falls under Bradstreet’s deal with UCP, which acquired the rights to the podcast last year.

In a statement, SVP of Development for UCP Elise Henderson said: “As a writer and executive producer, Kyle has been a great contributor to the success of Mr. RobotWe look forward to him bringing his vision and creativity to Alice Isn’t Dead and turning the successful podcast into a premium series.”
