Turbo Kid prequel short film brings back Apple for No Tomorrow!

Eyes! Throat! Genitals! Friends don’t dismember friends in awesome Turbo Kid short film

We are huge fans of Turbo Kid, so we’re absolutely thrilled that RKSS has given us a prequel short starring the awesome Laurence Lebeouf as Apple!

Featuring music from Le Matos, No Tomorrow is a Turbo Kid tale written and directed by the RKSS gang (Anouk Whissell, Yoann-Karl Whissell & François Simard), and sees Lebeouf reprise her role as the hyperactive, highly excitable and entirely adorable friendship unit Apple.

It’s set shortly before Apple encounters The Kid, and shows a bit of what she went through with her previous companion. If you liked the film, you’re going to want to check this out. If you haven’t seen the film, what are you waiting for?

“In a post-apocalyptic future, THE KID, a young solitary scavenger obsessed with comic books must face his fears and become a reluctant hero when he meets a mysterious girl named APPLE. Despite their efforts to keep to themselves, ZEUS, the sadistic and self-proclaimed leader of the Wasteland, plagues THE KID and APPLE. Armed with little more than blind faith and an ancient turbocharged weapon, THE KID learns of justice and friendship and embarks on an incredible journey to rid the Wasteland of evil and save the girl of his dreams.”

Turbo Kid is available now on Blu-ray and DVD. Keep up with the latest genre news with the new issue of SciFiNow.
