Well, now the pieces of the puzzle are starting to come together as we head towards The Flash Season 3. With Barry (Grant Gustin) having altered the timeline in the Season 2 finale, the finds himself in a world where his parents are alive, Wally West (Keiynan Lonsdale) has taken on the mantle of the (Kid) Flash, and Iris (Candice Patton), Cisco (Carlos Valdes) Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker) and Joe (Jesse L Martin) are all living different lives.
However, as the new extended trailer shows, things won’t last for long. The longer Barry stays in this new reality, the more he forgets his past, as confirmed by the hostage Eobard Thawne (Matt Letscher). We already know that while the ‘Flashpoint’ storyline from the comics (which this plot strand is inspired by) won’t last for the entire season, its ramifications will definitely be felt, hinting at myriad storytelling possibilities to come. We can’t wait.
