The CW’s forthcoming Supergirl TV series is not only adding to the network’s worldbeating slate of superhero shows, but looks to be actively expanding the universe of its established hits, Arrow and The Flash.
A behind the scenes piece in the new issue of Entertainment Weekly – transcribed by KSiteTV, drops a pretty exciting teaser about the show’s direction, saying, “Later in the afternoon at his other office on the Warner Bros. lot, [Greg] Berlanti meets with fellow producer Ali Adler and Oscar-winning costume designer Colleen Atwood to go over looks for their upcoming revamp of Supergirl.
“The show will follow 24-year-old Kara Zor-El, Superman’s cousin, and with a twist that that could melt fanboy brains, Berlanti says it’s possible this Supergirl could enter the worlds of Arrow and The Flash.”
That’s right, Oliver!
Arrow and The Flash are crossing over with two episodes in December, and under the watchful eye of their shared executive producer Greg Berlanti, Supergirl could easily do the same…
