As Star Trek Beyond edges closer and closer to release, the snippets of casting news keep coming in. The latest on is news that About Time and Never Let Me Go actress Lydia Wilson will be beaming aboard the good ship Enterprise.
Exactly who she’ll be playing, and whose side she’s on, is being kept under wraps – just like pretty much every other aspect of the film, in fact. Still, it’s a decent casting choice, with Wilson having impressed in the above mentioned films, although considering even the size of her role is unknown at present, it’s hard to judge whether she’ll be able to make a similar impression.
She joins a cast that includes series regulars Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Zoe Saldana, Simon Pegg, Karl Urban, John Cho and Anton Yelchin, and newcomers Idris Elba and Sofia Boutella.
Star Trek Beyond will be released in cinemas on 8 July 2016. You can download the Star Trek: The Complete Manual digital edition from GreatDigitalMags.com now.
