The Weinstein Company are working on developing TV series based on Robert Rodriguez and Frank Miller’s Sin City and Frank Darabont and Stephen King’s The Mist.
In an interview with The New York Times, Harvey Weinstein revealed that he believes “The way to add stability to the company is to be in the television business.”
Along with many other planned projects, the Weinsteins are planning to create a Sin City TV show after Robert Rodriguez and Frank Miller deliver their sequel A Dame To Kill For, with the intention that Miller and Rodriguez be involved.
Similarly, they want to work with Frank Darabont to bring a 10 part miniseries based on his Stephen King adaptation The Mist, which starred Thomas Jane and a plethora of interdimensional creatures.
