CBBC’s Doctor Who spin-off the Sarah Jane Adventures is reported to be completing its fifth season despite the death of Sarah Jane herself, Elisabeth Sladen.
According to The Sun newspaper, executives were unsure about how to continue but have decided that the remaining unfilmed scripts can be rewritten to explain the titular character’s absence.
“Writers will find a way to complete the series without Sarah”, a source said. “Fans will be thrilled to know it is returning.”
