In the least shocking snippet of news you are likely to read this week, work is already underway on a seventh Saw movie.
As reported by Bloody Disgusting, writers Patrick Melton and Marcus Dunstan are at this time drafting Saw VII. This early pre-production development (Saw VI is yet to be released) is no doubt a precursory measure, ensuring the project is ready for shooting in time for a next year release.
Melton and Dunstan have worked on Saw IV, Saw V and the upcoming VI. As well as this popular franchise, these two screenwriters have previously applied their skills to the Feast trilogy and horror on the horizon The Collector.
At this time Saw VII is in the writing stages and has no director attached to it. Saw VI has wrapped and in usual franchise fashion is scheduled for a 23 October release date.
