Get a first look at Philip K Dick’s Electric Dreams with these new images

Our first look at Amazon and Channel 4’s ambitious anthology series Philip K Dick’s Electric Dreams is finally here, in the form of some moodily lit images. Check them out.

First we have this one of Jack Reynor in the show’s second episode, titled ‘Impossible Planet‘ (directed and written by David Farr), looking very 2001: A Space Odyssey.

Then there’s this one of a worried-looking Benedict Wong in the same episode.

Finally, it’s kind of hard to tell what’s going on here from the angles but the spaceship-y windows suggest that it’s also from Impossible Planet.

You can read the show’s synopsis here:

Philip K. Dick’s Electric Dreams is a sci-fi anthology series of ten epic, ambitious and moving standalone episodes, each set in a different and unique world – some which lie in the far reaches of the universe and time and others which are much, much closer to home. While the stories may be worlds apart, central to each is the poignant and warm exploration of the importance and significance of humanity.

Each episode is inspired by one of Philip K. Dick’s renowned shorts stories and has been adapted by an exciting list of leading British and American writers and directors. The series also features an all-star roster of cast who head up this thrilling, audacious and emotional journey into the far reaches of imagination.

Electric Dreams will air on Channel 4 later this year and will be available on Amazon in the US.
