Norman Reedus cast in Robert Kirkman’s sci-fi Air

Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman casts Norman Reedus and Djimon Hounsou in sci-fi film

Norman ReedusNorman Reedus and Djimon Hounsou have been cast in Air, a post-apocalyptic sci-fi flick produced by The Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman.

Reedus, the breakout star of The Walking Dead, and Hounsou, a veteran scene-stealer who will next be seen in Guardians Of The Galaxy, will take the lead in the low-budget sci-fi feature from first-time director Chris Pasetto, written by Red Dead: Redemption and GTA: San Andreas scribe and designer Christian Cantamessa.

THR reports that Air is “set in an underground cryogenic facility after a nuclear fallout renders the atmosphere unbreathable. Air centers on its two custodial workers (Reedus, Hounsou), who take care of the cryogenically sleeping personnel that are to re-establish society, but they struggle to preserve their own sanity and lives while maintaining the extremely fragile environment of the last livable place on earth.”
