A new Star Wars videogame will be debuted this week, ahead of next week’s E3 event in California. Teased by host of GTTV Geoff Keighley, who will apparently reveal it to the world, this title sounds promising in principle. “I am blown away by both the caliber of the team on this project and their bold vision for this new Star Wars title,” Keighley said on his show. I’d guess it’s a project from game design genius Clint Hocking, who has been working at LucasArts on something unannounced since Summer 2010. That alone bodes well – Hocking pioneered a free-form approach to interactive narrative in his last game, Far Cry 2, that earned it widespread acclaim. So, bet it’ll be something heavy on story. Exciting!
