The Minecraft movie has been in development for a little while now, with Shawn Levy (Night At The Museum) previously attached to direct before he bailed. The news about the new director has certainly got our attention.

Right. Currently there’s no word on what the story will be, and the idea of the game is that you can kind of do anything in its open world environment, but we do know that The Lego Movie’s Roy Lee is a producer…we’re definitely intrigued.
